Boy Scouts from seven troops, including Troop 16, converged on Endicott Park last weekend for the first annual Danvers Scout Expo. The boys camped out, demonstrated scouting skills, and took part in a cooking contest and service project.
The event was conceived of and organized by Troop 16 committee member (and former chairman) Steve Burrill, with the help of senior patrol leaders and adults from the various troops.
The weather was perfect, and the sight of tents lined up along the edge of the access road was impressive.
Taking part were Troops 16, 58, 67 and 155 of Danvers, Troop 19 of Middleton, Troop 24 of Salem and Troop 466 of Lynn.
